From math to reading and writing, studying music helps students with academics in many ways.

  • IMPROVE MATH SKILLS: Through music theory, young students learn  beginning mathematics. In older students, music theory helps with more complex mathematics especially when composing music. From addition to multiplication, fractions and division, music makes math fun. 
  • IMPROVE READING SKILLS: Whether reading notes or lyrics, students are enhancing their reading skills. As a vocalist or musician, reading music notes and lyrics enables you to exercise and improve your reading skills. Through songwriting, students develop skills in writing, grammar and poetry.
  • IMPROVE HAND/EYE COORDINATION: In all ages, playing instruments and reading music develops great hand eye coordination and memorization. What a beautiful gift music is to us. A great way to develop skills and increase your knowledge while having so much fun!
  • IMPROVE MEMORIZATION: Through singing and or playing, music makes memorization enjoyable. From memorizing lyrics to memorizing notes and chords, students developing memorization skills in a whole new way.
