How Music Helps With Academics

From math to reading and writing, studying music helps students in many ways. Through music theory, young students learn the alphabet and beginning mathematics. In older students, music theory helps with more complex mathematics especially when composing music. When reading lyrics and music whether as a vocalist or musician, it enables you to exercise and improve your reading skills. Through songwriting, students develop skills in writing, grammar and poetry. In all ages, playing instruments and reading music develops great hand eye coordination and memorization. What a beautiful gift music is to us. A great way to develop skills and increase your knowledge while having so much fun!
